bio:
Nicolas Collins studied with Alvin Lucier, worked with David Tudor, and was Artistic Director of STEIM (Amsterdam). He is a Professor in the Department of Sound at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Editor-in-Chief of the Leonardo Music Journal, and author of Handmade Electronic Music – The Art of Hardware Hacking.
