From Scratch: PCB Design Intensive
workshop

The Printed Circuit Board [PCB] is the tie that binds all modern electronics, the secret component on which the lifetime of a device depends. Never before has a the wealth of open source hardware designs made it easier or more appealing to learn the processes of PCB layout and fabrication. This class will start with a discussion of when not to use a PCB and end with a hands on crash course in modern PCB design tools, covering lots in between. Save money and brains and start creating circuits from scratch. It is recommended that each participant have their own laptop computer with an installation of the free program Eagle, which can be found here: http://www.cadsoftusa.com/download.htm
